License Activation
RagGo uses a license key system to unlock paid features. Activation is done through the Web UI and ties the license to your machine.
Activation flow
- Purchase a plan on the pricing page or from your dashboard
- Receive your activation code via email after purchase
- Open the RagGo Web UI at
http://127.0.0.1:3235/ui/license - Enter your email and activation code in the license form
- License activates and is stored locally on your machine
You can also view your activation code on the licenses page of your dashboard at any time.

Offline grace period
RagGo periodically checks your license status with the activation server at activate.raggo.ai. If your machine is offline, there is a 7-day grace period during which paid features continue to work. After 7 days without connectivity, the license reverts to free-tier behavior until connectivity is restored.
Device fingerprinting
Each license is tied to the machine where it was activated. If you need to move your license to a different machine, deactivate it first from the Web UI at /ui/license, then re-activate on the new machine.
Note: Your data is always yours regardless of license status. Downgrading or losing a license never deletes your documents or indexes — it only restricts access to premium features.
